Featuring Bonnie Pugh for a 1 hr yoga session.
Bonnie is a RYT-200 who offers yoga and wellness classes in multiple different locations focusing on promoting well-being and community connection. She has additional training in breath work, yoga with weights, fascia release with therapy balls, and meditation. Her classes center on breath as the anchor of the practice, guiding students through creative and intentional movement that invites exploration through transitions, balance, and moments of stillness. Bonnie holds a special interest in somatic movement and nervous system regulation - helping students reconnect with their bodies in supportive and empowering ways. For in studio classes, she teaches locally at GoYoga in Delaware, Ohio & offers private classes and wellness retreats.

Relational abuse can take many forms, and it is important to recognize that not all abuse is physical. We will take a deep dive into the many types of abuse and what it takes to identify healthy resolution, with or without the abusive partner.

In this engaging and informative workshop, participants will explore how core beliefs develop, how trauma impacts those beliefs, and how both are stored and processed in the brain. We'll examine the powerful role these beliefs play in shaping our behavior, often operating in the subconscious mind
There will be a semi-structured networking lunch following the workshop. Pizza will be ordered in for an option if you choose to eat with us for a purchase of $5. Feel free to stay either way! TRAUMA’S IMPACT ON CORE BELIEFS
GOAL: Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the subconscious ways core beliefs and trauma show up in behavior, relationships, and everyday life.
METHODS: Lecture, Handouts, Power Point Presentation, Group Discussion
INTENDED AUDIENCE: This workshop is intended for all levels of helping professionals. Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists will receive 3 hours of CEUs, approved by the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage & Family Therapist Board. Other professional participants will receive a certificate of attendance if desired.
OBJECTIVES: In this engaging and informative workshop, participants will explore how core beliefs develop, how trauma impacts those beliefs, and how both are stored and processed in the brain. We’ll examine the powerful role these beliefs play in shaping our behavior, often operating in the subconscious awareness.

-Psychoeducation on how subconscious beliefs and trauma are stored in the brain, the role of the amygdala, hippocampus and prefrontal cortex in relation to trauma and beliefs
-Explanation of trauma responses.
