Adult Counseling in Delaware, Ohio
You might not have words for what you’re feeling—only that something’s off. Maybe things are harder than they used to be. Or you're holding more than you can manage.
At Fully Restored Counseling, we offer therapy for adults in Delaware, Ohio and online across the state.
Whether you're facing something recent or something that’s been building for years, you're welcome here.

Anxiety Treatment
Anxiety isn’t always loud. Sometimes it looks like being busy all the time. Or avoiding things that feel uncertain. Or overthinking every small decision. We’ll look at what’s beneath the worry, what’s keeping it going, and how to respond with more steadiness—without trying to control everything, so you can show up more fully, even when life feels uncertain.
Depression Treatment
Some days you show up. Other days you go quiet. Things that used to matter feel far away. You might feel like you’re going through the motions, or like you’ve lost track of who you are. You don’t have to fake it here. We’ll work together to figure out what’s weighing you down and what might help lighten it—even a little.
Trauma Therapy
You don’t have to call it trauma for it to affect you. Maybe your body tenses without warning. You feel like you’re always bracing for something. Or maybe you’ve gone numb. We may use methods like EMDR or CBT to help you process what happened—gently, in ways that make sense for you.
Grief Counseling
Grief doesn’t follow a timeline. It can feel hollow, sharp, quiet, or heavy. It might hit you all at once—or not for weeks. Whether you’re grieving someone, something, or a life you thought you’d have, you don’t have to go through it alone. You can bring it here.
Abuse Recovery
You may have been told to move on, forgive, or not make a big deal out of it. But abuse—emotional, physical, sexual, or spiritual—can leave behind a kind of confusion that doesn’t go away on its own. Here, you won’t be minimized. We’ll listen carefully and help you untangle what happened, without pressure or shame.
Divorce & Relationship Loss
When a relationship ends, the world doesn’t go back to normal. Even if the decision made sense, the aftermath can feel disorienting—lonely, raw, or full of questions. Therapy offers space to grieve what was lost, make sense of what changed, and slowly rebuild a life that feels like yours again.
Boundaries & Relational Patterns
You say yes when you don’t mean it. You absorb what other people feel. You stay quiet to keep the peace. Or maybe you demand things to change but they don't, and you wonder why you stay. Over time, those patterns wear you down. In therapy, you can begin to name what’s not working and practice setting limits that feel firm but kind—without losing yourself in the process.
Navigating Dating & Relationships
You keep ending up in situations you don’t want to be in. Or maybe you’re avoiding relationships altogether because it just feels easier. Together, we can look at the patterns, the fears, and what it might take to show up in relationships without losing yourself..
Life Transitions
Even changes you choose can feel unsettling. A move. A job shift. A new phase of life. Something ends—but the next thing hasn’t fully begun. Therapy offers a place to reflect, get your bearings, and decide how you want to move forward—intentionally, not just by default.

How We Work
You don’t need the right words or a plan to start therapy. We begin with what’s real—what’s been going on, what you’ve been carrying, and what might help ease the weight of it.
We draw from trusted, evidence-based approaches, including:
-
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR): often used to help process trauma and overwhelming experiences
-
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): for understanding and shifting thought patterns
-
Solution-Focused Therapy: to help identify strengths and small steps forward
-
Motivational Interviewing: to support change in a collaborative way
-
Christian Counseling: available for clients who want to integrate their faith into the process
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and you don’t have to figure it all out today. If you’re curious about working together, we’re here to answer questions or talk through what next steps might look like.
